Clowns R Us  and  Family Outreach, Inc.

Wings on Wheels

Wings on wheels was a program designed to encourage neighbors to help neighbors. Quite often the elderly and the disabled have a difficult time getting to a food pantry. So we encourage those who have a vehicle, to help their friends, relatives, or neighbors who can not pick up food for themselves through this program. This is how our program helps the tri-county area.

Clowns R Us is a business that was founded by Gary and Carol Jackson in 2010.

We started the Family Outreach Inc. (a Non-Profit Organization) in 1995. Its purpose was to reach out to communities in our area. We’ve accomplished this by opening a food pantry and we’ve also had a dance troupe that performed in Nursing Homes. We’ve also done pet therapy and we have participated in various community events, as well as being involved in and supporting humanitarian projects overseas, both in Mexico and in South Africa.

Our goal is to reach the world with love, God’s love. We have supported and still support these projects thru fundraising. We chose “clowning” as a fun way to raise money. Through the many “fun-raisers” we were involved in we became more and more professional and were able to start our own business, while still keeping our goal.

One main charity that we are involved in is Family Outreach, Inc.

Community Events / Charity Events of 2013

April it was the ASPCA at the Walkway Over the Hudson Craisy Daisy made balloon animals and had face painters at the event and were able to raise money for one of the shelters participating in the event.

July 4th Highland Library was raising funds for their programs. Crazy Daisy came in the spirit of the USA in her red, white, and blue, outfit. Making balloons is a fun way to raise money!

August, we volunteered our services for a young girl with brain cancer. For her birthday she wanted a princess party. Many vendors volunteered their talents for this very special event. Our princess balloons were a huge success.

September it was Light the Night Cancer Walk for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at Vassar College.
